The majority of our rare breed lamb is produced form our spring lambing flock of Southdown Sheep. The lambs are grazed on marshes and pastures in the heart of the Norfolk Broads which brings out the sweetness and tenderness in the meat that the Southdowns are renowned for. A number of Shropshire lambs are sourced from a farmer in South Norfolk amongst various other rare breeds of lamb that we purchase. Where one of the listed rare breeds is not available, the best local alternative will be used.
