Andy Neave - Butcher, Horning
Andy started his career with Dewhurst in 1978 and studied with them in both Bedford and Kent. He successfully managed their branch in Norwich.
In the 1990’s he became Area Manager for Blakes Butchers and spent several years working in the numerous shops they had around Norfolk. Andy then branched out and co-owned a Butchers in Norwich for 3 years before he decided to leave to go travelling. On his return he had some time away from butchery and worked as an Undertaker for a Norfolk Funeral Directors. Andy returned to butchery in November 2016 when he started as our main butcher in our new shop in Horning.
Robin Hewitt – Part Time Butcher, Horning
Robin has joined our team at Horning to help us through the busy periods and also to cover for sickness and holiday. Robin is a very experience butcher having had his own family butchers in Coltishall for 40 years. He retired in 2016 but has been kept busy helping a few local butchers out to cover holidays, sickness etc. Robin is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and flexible, and has slotted in to the Tavern Tasty Team really well.
Genna Newman – Kitchen Assistant & Part of the Outside Catering Team, Horning
Our newest recruit to the Horning Team, Genna has started on a part time basis. As the season picks up she will increase her hours and support the outside catering team. Her passion is for special effects make up and supporting Tavern Tasty in Horning is a stepping stone for her to realise her dream.
